Hanover County Driving While Intoxicated Dwi Dui Dismissed!
John Weiland of Weiland Upton, Attorneys at Law, recently represented a client charged with Driving While Intoxicated (DWI / DUI) in Hanover County Virginia. The client was pulled over for swerving and drifting over multiple lanes on the Interstate. Once stopped, the driver smelled of alcoholic beverage, admitted to consuming alcohol, and performed poorly on the field sobriety tests. During trial, Mr. Weiland was able to show the judge that the driver had poor balance issues and simply had not drank enough to be intoxicated. The Judge dismissed the DUI and the client drove home happy after winning her DUI trial.
